DUBAI - Traffic diversion began on Shaikh Zayed Road on Saturday, with vehicles heading towards Jebel Ali using the diverted six-lane highway between Business Bay Metro station and the second interchange.
The right turn to Al Hadiqa Street heading towards Al Wasl road was temporarily closed.
The Roads and Transport Authority said the diversions were necessary to complete construction work at Al Safa Park, which is part of the Dubai Water Canal project.
