Dubai's cheapest areas to rent property

DUBAI - We are constantly flooded with information about how rents are rising, but opportunities are springing up around Dubai for those looking to pick up a bargain.
Five communities in Dubai have been identified as the emirate’s most affordable communities to rent property, according to property website propertyfinder.ae.
The most affordable of them all? International City. The average rent in the community is AED 42,000 for a studio apartment.
“Rents are experiencing a slowdown in certain areas. For instance, in Jumeirah Lake Towers, apartment rents fell by 4.6 per cent between June and August. Similarly, if you are looking to get a foot on the property ladder, house prices are likely to slow further in the coming months,” said propertyfinder.ae’s CEO and founder Michael Lahyani.
Breaking down the average rent and average rent per sq. ft. for each of the five communities, propertyfinder.ae’s list ranks International City, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Investment Park and Dubailand as the least expensive locales for renting property.
