ABU DHABI - Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is inviting students to experience a day of learning, exploration and adventure at the UAE’s first mega waterpark as part of its ‘Cool Schools’ programme.
With activities including an interactive treasure hunt, creative waterpark designing activity and a water safety workshop, the fun yet educational programme aims to create an enriching and memorable trip out of the classroom for all students upon their return to school.
With prices starting from AED 125, each student will receive a day pass to Yas Waterworld, where they will have the chance to design a water ride of their own creation, and take part in an engaging lesson to learn exactly what it takes to run a leading waterpark.
Children will also find out about the UAE’s tradition of pearl diving, upon which the Emirati-themed waterpark itself is based. The fully supervised programme will begin with an educational pearl diving demonstration in the park’s purpose-built underwater tank, which will lead into a series of water-based team challenges throughout the park.
In addition to the fun and historical learning experience, students will also be taught valuable real-life water safety and life orientation skills, and have access to each of the park’s 45 rides, slides and attractions, including ‘PearlMasters’ – the world’s very first interactive treasure hunt in a waterpark.
