Top 10 things you can’t carry inside an aircraft
By Jerwel Hipolito, Staff Reporter MANILA - Citing security and health risks, airport authorities around the world have imposed restrictions on items that passengers can carry inside airline cabins.
Here are the top 10 things you probably did not know you can’t bring in your hand carried baggage. So that these items will not be confiscated, include them in your checked in baggage.
Umbrellas
Adhesive tape (masking tape, packing tape, duct tape, electrical tape, rubberized tape)
Sharp objects like scissors, nail cutters
Baseball bats or cricket bats
Golf clubs
Skates (including ice skates and roller blades)
Guns and replicas
Brass knuckles
Perfumes (more than 100ml)
Self defense sprays. One 4 ounce (118ml) container of mace or pepper spray is permitted in checked baggage provided it is equipped with a safety mechanism to prevent accidental discharge.
