What’s on this week for DSS at Dubai malls

There are 17 more days of free entertainment and mall promotions before the Dubai Summer Surprises closes. But before that, here's a list of entertainment activities this week.
Sheyaab – City Centre Mirdif
August 21-23 at 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Three young Kuwaiti artists play the role of very old men, imitating their behaviour, moves, and dialects. The YouTube clip of their participation in the TV talent show, Arabs Got Talent, got more than 4.8 million hits in just three weeks. Sheyaab - Romeo, Mirshiego, and Alijandro – sing and dance as they play various musical instruments.
Skylanders Live Show & Meet & Greet – City Centre Deira
August 21-31 at 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The Skylanders - Spyro, Eruptor & Gill Grunt will take you on an adventure into the magical world of Skylands!
Balloon Bending – City Centre Mirdif
August 17-21 at 5:00pm, 7:30pm and 9:30pm
Children coming into the mall will be delighted to watch in wonder as performers create wonderful balloon animals in front of the eyes
Musicians Flash Mob
August 12-20 at 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Centre Court, Level 1 in City Centre Deira)
August 21-26 at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Mall of the Emirates - Ground level next to Virgin Megastore
Aug 28 – September 5 at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (City Centre Mirdif – Central Galleria)
Ten musicians with assorted instruments, such as flute, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, violin and keyboards, will appear impromptu and play well-known film and TV theme tunes, such as the new Spiderman movie theme, as well as Arabic songs by Fairuz and Dalida.
Miss Frost - Mall of the Emirates
August 18 to 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The icy Miss Frost will roam around the mall for photo opportunities and the chance to meet the friendly mascot
DSS Grand Draw
Shoppers can also win the dream prize of an AED 1 million shopping spree to use at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira or City Centre Mirdif! Spend AED 450 for the chance to enter the Grand Prize draw, held at the end of DSS.
