$5,000 Emirates competition extended

DUBAI – Artists have more time to submit their entries to the Emirates Skywards Future Artists competition. The submission deadline has been extended to August 15, Emirates Skywards announced on Thursday.
A prize of $5,000 will be given to each of the four best creative interpretation of this year's Hello Tomorrow theme. The final four artworks will also be featured on Emirates’s frequent flyer membership cards.
Artists can choose to create their artwork in any of the following mediums: painting or illustration, digital photography or computer art, and 3D, which covers sculpture, glass or ceramic work.
Emirates Skywards members around the world will choose the four winners through an online vote.
