Best Fujairah photo could win you thousands of dirhams

DUBAI – Photography enthusiasts in the UAE have until November 1 to submit their entries to the Fujairah Photography Award.
Filipinos dominated last year’s contest, with Mario Cardenas winning the Grand Prize and Donell Gumiran winning third place and a Dh10,000 prize.
The contest is open to UAE nationals and expatriates. Each participant may submit a maximum of five photographs for each category. There are two this year: General category on urban development in Fujairah, and a special category on Fujairah mountains.
Participants must register here http://www.fujaward.ae/en/User.aspx and upload a scanned copy of their ID or passport and their photo entries for the contest. The deadline for submission of entries is on November 1.

Grand Prize: Hasselblad camera (awarded to the winner with the largest number of outstanding works in both categories)
