Use your Emirates ID as an ATM card soon

DUBAI – The Emirates ID will soon replace ATM and credit cards.
The move to integrate bank cards with ID card is expected to be rolled out when this year's pilot results are satisfactory.
Automated Teller Machines will be reconfigured to read the Emirates ID so that users can use it at ATMs for any banking transactions. Authorities are also considering ID authentication services with Visa and MasterCard to integrate their services for global use.
